Joe and Brian Mannino have been doing masonry since they graduated high school. The brothers both worked for masonry contractors in the State College, Pa. area.
January 2001 they decided to start their own masonry company. They started out with two employees, and within four months they had eleven employees. The business had grown just as they expected, and today they have approximately thirty employees.
Their company has outgrown the residential market. There main focus today is new commercial construction. Joe and Brian will do "whatever it takes" to get a project, and get it completed ahead of schedule. They focus on working as a team with their employees, offering rewards to employees for safety, and performance.
While the economy is not good for most, they have more projects scheduled than they typically do. Most general contractors prefer to hire Village Craft Iron & Stone, Inc, because the way they always perform, and the broad range of tasks they are willing to do.
They have managed to operate many other successful businesses as well. They have several residential and commercial rental properties in the area, and they also have a large wholesale furniture operation that is available to the public, with two stores in Centre County, Pa..
